ZooBoo

Fresno Chaffee Zoo

ZooBoo is a fun, safe and not-so-scary way for families to enjoy the fall holiday!
This year, enjoy fun, all-new decorations and activities that celebrate the natural wonder of fall, like our hay maze!
Of course, you’ll still get the chance to trick-or-treat at the Zoo and visit our fun skeleton scenes for a socially distant selfie!
Children are encouraged to dress in costumes. (Non-scary costumes are appropriate for this event. Please select a costume that is appealing to children and does not contain horror elements of any kind.)
All socially distant guidelines rules and regulations will be implemented. Please do not attend the event if you are feeling ill.
Ticket prices are $22 for adults and $20 for children (ages 2-11) for non-members.
Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for children (ages 2-11) for Fresno Chaffee Zoo members.

Costume Party & Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Join us for an afternoon of fun-filled activities including free food, drinks, music, pumpkins and painting decoration kits! Free pumpkins will be available to the first 50 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. You are welcome to bring your own pumpkin too. We will also host a Best Pumpkin and Costume Contest at 1 p.m. with mystery prizes for our winners! *Must be present to win.

Halloween Limited

Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad

Come aboard our Halloween railroad adventure! Goody bags are provided for all costumed guests! Trick or treating is offered in our shops.
Dinner is served at 5:00 p.m. Children’s dinner includes an all-beef hot dog, chips, and coleslaw with dessert. Option for children to upgrade to hamburger for $5 more. Adult dinner includes a choice of a hamburger, hot dog, or vegetarian with chips, coleslaw, and dessert.
Train boards at 6:00 p.m. for a ride down to the loop for an outdoor spooky storytime. Back to the station around 8:00 p.m.
Limited seating due to social distancing!

Trunk-or-Treat

Mark your Calendars for a FREE, fun and safe TRUNK OR TREAT community event for Ages 5 to 17. Enjoy live performances, craft stations, hot cocoa and more!
Wear your costumes, decorate your car, and show us your dance moves as we have 3 contests you can enter!

No Tricks Just Treats!

Forestiere Underground Gardens - Fresno

Join us for fun fall activities underground! Adults and kids alike can come trick or treating through some of the decorated rooms of the Gardens! After trick or treating guests can purchase food, beverages, and handcrafted items from our artisan marketplace. All costumes must be family friendly, please, nothing gory, violent, satanic, or risque/inappropriate costumes. Guests in such costumes will not be permitted to attend.


Halloween Trunk or Treat

Sunrise Rotary Sports Complex - Madera

Bring your family out for a fun time of trick-or-treating with different local organizations. Wearing your costume is highly encouraged! We'll have games & activities and goodies


Saturday, October 30th

5th Annual Bass Lake Halloween Carnival

12 pm - 6 pm
The Pines Resort - Bass Lake

Families can participate in a variety of activities, games and crafts. Both free and paid.
During this year's Halloween Carnival we will be offering the following KIDS activities:
-> Digital Photo Booth
-> Trick or Treat
-> Inflatables (bounce houses, obstacle courses & slides)
-> Carnival Games
-> Costume Contest
-> Entertainment by DJ Albert
-> Face painting
In addition, we will be offering:
-> Beer Tasting for grownups
-> Craft Fair in the Pines Village (Friday-Sunday, 10/29 - 10/31/2021)

This event is NOT pet friendly. For safety of our patrons, pets are not allowed to participate.

Valley Animal Center - Fresno

In partnership with Valley Dream Car, we're bringing to you Valley Animal Center's very first Trunk-or-Treat car show!
This is a trunk or treat and a car show combined! Have treat hungry little ones? Dress them up in their Halloween apparel and join us. More interested in the car show? Stop on by to see some amazing cars! This is a FREE event to spectators.
We'll also have various activities such as a pumpkin decorating contest and a costume contest.
Money raised through this event comes back to support our shelter animals!
*No pets will be allowed at this event for their own safety due to the amount of cars that will be present.

All Hallows Eve Movie Night

Put on your Halloween costume a day early and watch Coco on the videoboard at Valley Strong Ballpark! Costume contest, trick or treating, and giveaways! Tickets are $5 and kids 12 & under get in FREE!


Sunday, October 31st

Village Halloween

3 pm - 6 pm
ImagineU - Visalia

Village Halloween at ImagineU is a free and FUN community event.  Parents and children of all ages are encouraged to wear costumes and bring trick-or-treat bags for FREE trick-or-treating at ImagineU. The inside of the museum will transform into a village with decorated doors designed for our littlest guests. Each door is decorated by members of our local community that want to make sure that every kid has a safe and fun Halloween.
